- I grew up in east-central Indiana near Muncie. While serving my country in the USAF during the Vietnam War era, my second duty assignment was to Taiwan where I met the beautiful lady who would become my dear wife. We have been married for nearly thirty-seven years. We have two children and two grandchildren. I have been pastor of a rurban church in southeast Iowa for seventeen years.
